CHI St. Alexius Health Williston Restricts Visitation Due to the Flu

WILLISTON, N.D. – Due to the severity of complications from this year’s influenza strain, CHI St. Alexius
Health is restricting visitation to all units in the hospital effective February 1, 2017.
• Children under 12 years of age are prohibited from visiting patients
• Visitation is restricted to immediate family only; immediate family members not vaccinated
against influenza will be required to wear a mask.
         *Immediate family of the patient includes parent, grand parent or sibling/child over the
         age of 13.
• All visitors who are experiencing flu-like symptoms or who have not received the influenza
vaccine are required to wear a mask

The restrictions will remain in place until the threat of influenza has passed or returned to normal
seasonal level.

The general public is reminded it is not too late to vaccinate against influenza. Call 701.572.7651 to schedule your appointment today. In addition, it is important to always cover your cough and practice good hand hygiene.
